Pythouse Club was originally built by the Bennets, owners of magnificent Pythouse, for the use of visiting cricket teams. Over time and several generations Pythouse Club evolved in to a place for local families to swim, play tennis, cricket and squash and enjoy the outdoors in quiet beautiful countryside.
The original Clubhouse fell into disrepair but it has been re-born, designed by architect Joshua Berry, and built to an exceptionally high standard by local craftsmen in selected natural materials. It offers an elegant club room, changing rooms and showers, wi-fi, and a counter style kitchen for events.
The club is able to offer membership for players as full tennis-playing members, or for others as social members enjoying the use of the club house. Membership may be restricted when lists are full.
